Helen Walasek is the author of Bosnia and the Destruction of Cultural Heritage and is Associate Honorary Research Fellow at University of Exeter. She was Deputy Director of Bosnia- Herzegovina Heritage Rescue during and after the 1992–95 Bosnian War and has written and lectured widely on the conflict-related intentional destruction of cultural heritage.
