Carlotta Rigotti is a PhD Researcher in law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Although her main research interest is in gender issues, she has been involved in an EU-funded project dealing with countering and reducing violent extremism. Additionally, she has worked as an intern in a criminal law firm in Italy, while also joining the Human Rights and Migration Law Clinic run by the University College of Turin.
